The Chiltern Teaching School Alliance helps schools with the process of recruiting NQTs, registering them to go through the induction process, and providing training during their induction year.

NQT Induction

We act as an Appropriate Body to register NQTs
through the formal induction process and award
completion of induction.

NQT Training

Primary

The programme includes a full day’s welcome event in
July, for both primary and secondary NQTs, and a series
of twilight sessions as follows;

Monday 14 November - at Dallow

Thursday 8 December - at St Christophers

Thursday 19 January - at Denbigh Primary

Wednesday 8 February - at Waulud

Thursday 16 March - at St Christophers

Thursday 27 April - at Putteridge

Thursday 18 May - at St Christophers and

Thursday 22 June - at Beechwood

All Induction sessions run from 4.15pm – 6.15pm

This programme will involve co-ordinated opportunities for NQTs to observe good practice across other schools, as well as the twilight sessions, and we hope to be able to offer formal accreditation for this programme through Challenge Partners.

The programme includes a full day’s welcome event in

All Induction sessions run at Challney High School for Boys from 4.15pm – 6.15pm


Cost of service

  • Secondary NQT programme: £200 per NQT.
