CTSA, LFTSA and LBC are seeking to recruit

Local Leaders of Education (LLEs)

Recruitment Round Opens – Friday 26 May 2017

Recruitment Round Closes – Monday 26 June 2017

Local Leaders of Education (LLEs) have made and continue to make a significant contribution to supporting schools since the programme was introduced in 2008.  LLEs provide a range of school-to-school support and coaching and mentoring for Headteachers.  Designation brings numerous benefits and outcomes for your school including improvements in: exam results, Ofsted evidence, behaviour / discipline and progress in closing the gap.

As part of the move towards school-led systems, Chiltern Teaching School Alliance, Luton Borough Council and Luton First Teaching School Alliance are collaborating in recruiting and designating school leaders in this role in our locality.

If your school has been judged at least 'good' by Ofsted for Leadership and Management, you have at least 3 years’ experience in the Headteacher role and currently support at least one other school you may be able to apply to become an LLE.

Application forms and all other relevant documents are here and the closing date for applications to be received is Monday 26 June.

Enquiries can be made to Luton First TSA for primary LLEs and CTSA for secondary LLEs.  All application information is below.
