Training with real impact
We are one of just 12 Teaching Schools in the country that have been identified by the National College to facilitate the training of the first cohort of 1000 SLEs

SLE Applications

The next application window for the three step process to become 'badged' as an SLE is in October.  This is NOT for a specific SLE job; but for SLE status, to enable you to undertake support work as an SLE.

Step 1 - apply to CTSA, using the documents below, by 12.00 on Friday 20 October

Step 2 - interviews will then be held, for successful applicants, on Tuesday 14 November

Step 3 - a training day will then be held, for successful applicants again, on Wednesday 22 November

Application documents are available here and applicants are advised to read the information on the front of the application form carefully:

SLE Training

We have a group of nationally trained facilitators and we offer core and enrichment training to SLEs in our region annually.

Training takes place in outstanding schools within our Alliance, offering SLEs the opportunity to observe either primary or secondary teaching. The team of facilitators also has cross-phase experience.

All locations are within easy reach of the M1, Junction 11, and close to the Luton mainline station.
